What to Expect
The first treatment will be preceded by a conversation about your symptoms, medical history, along with anything that you feel is relevant to your main complaint. Various diagnostic techniques may be used including looking at your tongue, feeling your pulse, and abdominal or muscle palpation.
Although the treatment experience is medical in nature, it is also meant to be restorative. In Chinese medicine the mind and body are together seen as one system, so bringing the mind a sense of relaxation and peace is an important aspect of relieving your physical symptoms.
Acupuncture needles are very thin, single-use sterile, stainless steel needles. The sensation of insertion can range from completely painless to a slight discomfort. Once the needles have been inserted, most people experience a sense of deep relaxation, similar to a meditative or dreamlike state.
Rates + Insurance
I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance if you have out of network benefits.

Payment must be made at the time of appointment. Cash, credit cards or Zelle, are accepted forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
Please give a minimum of 48 hours notice before canceling a scheduled appointment.
If you miss an appointment, or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you are still responsible for the price of the missed appointment.
